A Cost Effective Intervention for Shiftworkers:
Shift-workers require specialized training and their needs in coping with the demands that shift work entails are not to be underestimated. Every aspect of a shift-workers life (Home, Social and Work) has the potential to be negatively affected due to fatigue and sleep related problems. This package is designed to offer a direct and effective approach to better manage the rigours of working shifts, or regularly working long hours.
Common Shift-worker Training Challenges:
- Allocating and coordinating suitable time to undertake essential training
- Reluctance due to being too tired to attend for any length of time (no shows)
- Covering for time absent whilst on any training
- Costs associated with bringing staff in on their days off.
The Fatigue Management Package is designed to provide key essential education and training with the minimum amount of time in the training room.
