Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. What is, “Emotional Energy Management”?

Exactly what it says. Having the capacity to manage your energy that is consumed during high emotional (and subsequent physiological) states - and doing this naturally.

Being in a position of power and deciding (having choice) how you wish to respond to a given situation and circumstance in order to avoid the wastage (in the case of ongoing negativity) of human energy and potential.

Awareness of personal emotions can be extremely helpful and for those considered to have high levels of Emotional Intelligence managing them can be a lot easier, however for what seems to be a majority, this may not be that easy.
Emotions and the consumption of energy, stem from an internal source and are presented (Particularly at work) for all to see and where, ultimately judgements are made.

The inability to manage the expression of emotions can have dire consequences and can seriously influence performance, decision making, health, relationships and career opportunities.  Knowing how to alter the undesirable and ongoing emotions when emotional triggers present themselves is where EEM steps in.

The ‘System’ incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to returning the body to Homeostasis or Equilibrium (Metabolically and Psychologically) – or as close as possible in order that behaviours return to ‘normal’ and the body is in the best possible state for recovery or functioning.

Emotional Energy Management consists of 3 core elements:

  1. Self Awareness  -  (Understanding what is actually taking place - Psychologically & Physiologically)
  2. Decision Making  -  (Identifying a desired outcome in relation to what is taking place)
  3. Application of Specific and Inter-related Interventions or Methodologies - (Movement towards achievement of a desired or acceptable outcome)
